My Morning Jacket painted record This My Morning Jacket record was a request from a friend. It's been a while since I've done one of these, especially something with such fine lines, and I'm feeling a little rusty. I'm Amazed it didn't turn out worse!

It was such a hit last year , my family decided to do the Christmas Challenge again this year. I had to give a handmade or vintage gift to my dad.   I painted a record for him with Maurice "the Rocket" Richard on it. And I also included some of our homebrew beer. It seemed like a pretty good gift until Chris blew me away with what he made for my little brother .

I feel like I haven't done a painted record in ages.   Van Morrison We've been incredibly busy, so I tried to keep the Christmas orders to a minimum this year. But I did manage to squeeze a few in.

  My first Neil Young wasn't scruffy enough for some people's tastes.

  Nirvana's Nevermind cover baby I can't wait until we have the apartment all set up. Painting records with the furniture in flux has been a real challenge. That being said, I'm really happy with how this one turned out even if it took me much longer than I expected.

  The London Calling cover for a fan of The Clash I'm a little behind on my record orders but hopefully I'll be able to do a few more this weekend.

Before heading home for the holidays I finished two more records: Gord Downie of the Tragically Hip AC/DC Not the the design I would have initially picked, but I was asked to do something that wouldn't scare the grandkids
