Mod Mischief

This Rocketeer rocket pack cost us a grand total of $0. It's made almost entirely from items destined for the trash or the blue bin. It's supposed to be for Chris' Halloween costume, but I couldn't resist putting it on to get some photos of the finished product. Full instructions over on instructables.com

Only 17 days til Halloween! Despite pulling some 13 hour days at work this month, I've managed to make some progress on our costumes for this year. Chris' rocket pack is well on its way to being done. We just need to add a few final details and he'll be ready to fight nazis and sweep Betty Page off her feet. More photos and a full how-to soon.
